Campaign Training:
We provide a detailed overview of candidate/district/issue, Q&A review of likely questions the team will get in the field, and cover the script and key talking points for all canvassers to ensure they are ready at the door. These trainings are comprehensive – not a fact-sheet-and-go approach, but with roleplaying, practice, and repetition.
Tech Training:
Canvassers are trained on our canvass application utilizing a Blitz iPad or smartphone. The app includes time tracking and individual user logins.
Background Check:

Conduct & Compliance Training:
All canvassers are informed of the dress code, professionalism expectations, and project objectives. We have a zero-tolerance fraud policy for both canvassing and signature gathering. We also provide extensive training to meet the standards of the Secretary of State petition handbook when applicable.

We enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy against fraud for both canvassing and signature collection. When applicable, we provide specialized training to fully meet the standards outlined in the California Secretary of State petition handbook.
Technology Training:
We equip our canvassers with Top Notch Canvassing–issued iPads or smartphones loaded with our canvassing app. This tool features time tracking, secure logins, and real-time data reporting. Our tech training ensures every canvasser can efficiently log interactions and keep campaign data accurate.

Canvassing Reports:
Top Notch Canvassing delivers daily qualitative and quantitative reports that outline key campaign metrics, including the total number of doors knocked, voter conversations, and responses to each question. Each report also includes a detailed daily narrative with direct quotes from the field, offering valuable insight into voter sentiment and engagement levels.
Signature Reports:
For signature collection campaigns, Top Notch Canvassing provides weekly updates detailing both total signatures collected and total valid signatures. When required, we also include a district-by-district breakdown, giving our clients a clear view of progress and performance across targeted areas.
